Want to Bind & Publish own Book

I would like to be able to print the pages for a book I am writing for myself
and bind it the old fashion way. Can I print in clusters of "leaves" say 14
or 20 pages for a book that will be 300 pages or so? I will be hand sewing
the leaves and doing my own leather binding. I don't want to pay a 3rd party
to print and bind the book when I can do it myself.

How do I set publisher up to do this without manually doing this. It would
be in booklet form, if you will where it would need to print page 1 & 20 on
one side of the page and 2 & 19 on the other - this would be the first
printed page. The second printed page would be 3 & 18 on one side of the
page and 4 & 17 on the other - and so on... The next cluster of leaf would
be page 21 & 40 on one side of the page and 22 & 39 on the next... Each page
would be folded in have and "stacked" inside each other and sewed after each
cluster was complete these would be sewn together and bound to make a book.

Now what if I printed 4 pages per side fo the paper and and folded these
pages to make my book? Could I do this?

Thanks,

Mark

If you select booklet in page setup, Publisher will correctly present your pages
on your screen and print in the pages in the correct order.

The only way I can see to set your booklet up is to divide the publication into
2 parts. Pages 1 through 20 for one publication, pages 21 through 40 for the
next.

If you are printing 4 pages at a time rather than 20 pages, turn off two-page
spread, print current page, click no to the query. Go to page 2, turn the page
over, repeat.

This is the exact reason for the question "Print as separate booklet?"

File > Print > 1 to 20 > Print as separate booklet = Yes.

Repeat for 21 to 40. Duplex carefully manually or using a PDF file, or a
duplex module.
