Warning Message

On loading Outllok I get a message which says "xxxx is not a valid Office Add
In" but I have never tried to do a Office Add In.

You may not have knowingly installed an addin, but software you installed
may have.
eg AV, antispam, sync, fax, etc
Check OL addins and disable the offending addin.
or post back what 'xxxx' actually is, include your version of OL

It does not appear in OL addins.
I have OL2003 and the message is "C:\....\Application Data\Microsoft\Add
Ins\C:\Program File\Microsoft Office\Office\SBCMSYNC.DLL"

Close Outlook - find and rename extend.dat to .old (if using Windows search,
enable searching hidden files.)
