warning ??? Windows Vista beta and office 2003 don't like each oth

I know kind of off topic, but it effects office users ...

Installed Vista beta 2 on system that had office 2003 installed.
Vista install replaces 'mapi32.dll' and Outlook 2003 wont start because it
detects the wrong version of that file .. :(

and since the file is in use by Vista, it wasn't able to replace it because
the target PC did not have a DVD drive to boot from.
Only an upgrade to Office 2007 "solved" the problem ...
