Hi Jerry!

I should have an article specifically for this coming shortly but in the
meantime have a look at this page on the Entourage Help Page
<http://entourage.mvps.org/accounts/exchangeatwork.html>. Skip from #3
to #7 and continue from there.

For the email server you'll want to use the web address you'd use for
your Outlook Web Access server such as http://webmail.domain.com.

For the public folder server you'll want to use the web address you'd
use for your Outlook Web Access server followed by "/public" such as
such as http://webmail.domain.com/public.

LDAP lookups typically are not possible through OWA.

Hope this helps! bill

Thanks for the doc. I actually got it to work by entering it without
http:// and only entering the server name (or the fully qualified
name). The only remaining issue is ldap. I am using 636 for secure
ldap and 3269 for secure global catalog but nothing. It seems to be
working against a 2003 server. Anyway thanks agian for your help

Hi Jerry!

I'll never say never but...

I doubt you'll be able to get LDAP searches to work when connecting from
outside your company network. These typically require that you be
pointing to a Global Catalog Server, which is a Domain Controller and
those are (should) never be exposed to the outside world. A front-end
server is generally not a GC server.

I do have an Applescript that I need to get posted on the Entourage Help
Page that will allow you to do OWA GAL lookups through a front-end
server. I'll work to get this posted by next weekend.
