Weird Calendar issue

Keith

I am using Exchange 2003 and Entourage VX 10.1.6.

A new user is created and everything works fine- GAL,
Free/Busy, send/receive, etc.

But when I add older users (who were previously using OWA
for email) their calendars appear blank.

If they try to schedule a meeting, they will see populated
Free Busy info for themselves and everyone else.

But if they just view their calendar they don't see any
meetings at all.

In the IMAP folders list- they see a folder
called "Calendar" and it's full of email messages
containing all of their appointments. But this data is
not populated in their actual Calendar. It seems as if
Entourage sees their calendar data as a folder of their
mailbox...and thinks their actual calendar is blank.

I do not see this calendar folder for new users created
and viewed in Entourage. It's only for a select group
here who previously used OWA for email.

I did open their mail with Outlook and it did not resolve
the issue.

Any ideas?

Tip: On the exchange server IIS interface. Make sure in properties of the
default web site, on the Web Site tab, "HTTP keep-alives enabled" is
checked. Once this is done, all Entourage clients free/busy info is updated
and can schedule appointments seeing user data on exchange.

Also, see
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exup_entx.html#exup13>

If #1 is the case, see note #15 for the resolution. Also, make sure your
Exchange Server and Free/Busy Server are entered correctly in your account
settings. You might want to try adding /public/ to the end of the Free/Busy
server entry.
