Weird problem with Outlook 2003

Hi!

I installed Office 2003 along with Outlook 2003, I have a pop3 account
with my ISP, the weird thing is that with Outlook Express I can
download my e-mails, but Outlook 2003 won't do, the error it gives is
number 0x800408FC.

Is that an incompatibility problem between Outlook 2003 and my ISP
Server?

This error indicates that we were unable to resolve the server name to a
machine address - possible reasons are:

1) The server name in your account is wrong.
2) Your network connection is down.
3) Your ISP's DNS server (the server that translates a name to a machine
address) is down.

We'll make sure this has a better error message. The error I hit resolved
itself - I probably was hitting (2) or (3).

Hi Mark,

I went to check this 3 possibilities, but still Outlook Express
downloads my e-mail, Outlook 2003 doesn't. The network connection is
up and the DNS server also. Server name in the account is right, so
this has to be something related to Outlook 2003 itself.
