weird signatures

I've just created my first signature in Outlook 2002 on Win2000 Pro.
The signature looks good except, there is a weird character appearin
before the beginning of my signautes.
I tried to make 3 different signatures adn they all have the sam
problem.

Weird.
I opened my signature file in Frontpage.
If I change this line

<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> to this
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=arial">

Everything is good.
Thanks for anybody who was looking for an answer, but hadn't figured i
out yet.
