What are "Favorites" displayed when inserting a media clip?

When attempting to insert a sound or movie clip, the clip art task pane
displays a group of wpl files marked as Favorites. What are those? When I
insert them into a slide, the result is a black-filled box that does nothing.

Trudy,
I guess those are playlists you made in Windows Media Player, those have the
extension of *.wpl. If you search for media content in the task pane those
could show up depending on what you have chose in the search for box.
