What csv standard used by excel?

Anyone, can tell me about the standard of CSV that used by excel...
I mean, can you describe the detail about csv standard that used by Excel.

Because, I'm developing Flash multimedia right know, and I'm using CSV
(created from EXCEL) as my data file. I'm going to load the data from my CSV
file into my Flash Aplication.

Flash did not have any special functions to load data from CSV, so I have to
make the algorithm by my self...

That's why.. I need the details about CSV format standard that used by
Excel...

I need this information so much...

The easiest way would be to make an Excel file of your required data and
..SaveAs csv from Excel.
Look at the results in NotePad or your favourite text editor.
Make sure that the date format function as expected on different
locales/platforms that you need to work with.
These .csv files will only work with ANSI character set; if you need support
for extra chars, use a Unicode enabled format.
Also, you may not get an actual comma separated format, depending on the
locale's setting for the list separator.
You can always white your own routine to save/read the data exactly as you
need.
