What is "Person" column in Calendar?

If I choose a Calendar view, one of the possible columns is "Person".
However, what is this used for? I can't seem to find a way to edit it.
Thanks.

Good question! I'd guess that it might have been intended for something to
do with attendees of invitations, but it doesn't display anything even where
there are any. (And how would it display more than one, anyway?)

This is a great mystery. I'll see if I can find out and report back.
Whatever it was supposed to be, it doesn't appear to be doing anything right
now.

Thanks.

If you have extra-terrestrial clearance you will see the option to classify
persons by galaxy, dimension and number of tentacles (or of course, human).

Seriously....good question.

The field it maps to is kSender_List. Perhaps it was originally intended to
be the meeting organizer? Haven't looked much further to see how that field
is used...

Thanks to all for the responses. I'm considering switching from Now Up to
Date to Entourage and am trying to figure it out. I guess I won't worry
about "Person"!
