What is the max. number of contacts I can send to at one time?

I use to use Outlook Express and have just upgraded to Outlook 2003.

I had a group of contacts in Outllook Express with approx. 180 contacts and
when I try to send an email to all of them, it does not work. The email does
not get sent. Why does it not work with that many contacts? I have sent
other messages with just a few contacts and they seem to work fine. All of
the other functions of Outlook 2003 seem to be working ok.

Outlook imposes no such limits. Those limits are imposed by your mail
server. Ask your provider.

It worked fine in Outlook Express but when trying to send to the same group
in Outlook 2003, the message does not get sent. I have not changed anything
with my provider. Am I missing something in Outlook 2003? Should I be
setting up a distribution list rather than just including all the contacts in
the BCC field?

No. You should be querying your mail provider. This is not an Outlook issue.

After you put the names in the to, cc ort bcc field, copy and paste it into
notepad and check the character count. Do it with one that you know works
too. The fields have a character limitation but I forget offhand how much it
is.
