I just started doing a project for a large company.
I take ".tif" pictures of documents from the physical files and scan them
into electronic files. Then I take those images, put them through an image
processing program(like "imagepro"), adjust them until they are beautifully
clear, straight, and printable. From there they go to a data file to be
accessable from the internet. Often, I have to try different ways to come out
with a clear document picture. I use different methods of copying, scanning,
and adjusting until I am pleased with the outcome.
My boss came up with a "high-tech" sounding title, once, but now he can't
remember what he said.
I would like to make this sort of work part of my career discription. Can
you tell me a good name for this?
