What mailservers support confirmation of actual delivery?

Hello,

when I send email with request of delivery confirmation, sometimes I receive
the following: "your message ... was relayed. Unfortunately, the remote mail
system does not support confirmation of actual delivery. Unless the final
delivery fails, this will be the only delivery status notification sent."
What systems do support confirmation of actual delivery?

A deliver receipt is an optional function performend by the recipient's mail
system. There are systems that do not support delivery receipt or allow the
administrator to block the function.
