what should a dashboard for a IT program contain ?

I am in process of building a dashboard for an IT program and need help to
understand the elements of a typical Dashboard.

Who is the dashboard for? I would suggest different dashboards or different
filters for different groups of people. Typically dashboards are for
management and I would resist just showing the classic Time and Dollars as
these alone do not make for a successful project, they are simply two
important constraints.

Include Health flags set by Key Project stakeholders and provide links to
lists of Business deliverables for each project.

Cost Performance Index, Schedule Performance Index, Baseline Executability
Index and To Complete Performance Index scaled monthly on a chart.

Another chart would be Earned Value (BCWS, BCWP, ACWP) over time.

Trending on indicies and variances for up/down, etc.
