503 valid RCPT command must precede DATA

^^^ What the heck does this mean? I can't change anything until I figure
that out, and, unfortunately, I cannot send emails until I get it figured
out. Can anyone please help??

a quick look on google seems to indicate that you must check for new
mail before you try sending mail so that you can authenticate properly.
