What's this line through messages?

I have a junk mail folder on our IMAP server. After "deleting" the messages
in that folder, I can still see them but they are crossed out. What happened
to them? If they are gone, why are the headers still there? Nothing comes up
when I click on a message though.

Go to Entourage -> Mail and News Preferences, and click the "Read" tab.
Check the option to "Hide IMAP messages marked for deletion", and click OK.

I don't know why this happened to you, but this should take care of it.
