what's wrong with my .csv file?

I am having several problems editing my .csv file to import my outlook
contacts into gmail?

When I first created my .csv file, it had about 40 different columns
(the standard stuff and then other stuff like address2, phone 2 and
phone 3, assistant's name, birthday, anniversary, etc). I deleted all
the unnecessary stuff and only left first name, last name, email, phone
and address.

When I go to import my .csv file - I get the following "VERY ANNOYING
and VERY AMBIGUOUS" error message.

"There were problems with your CSV file, so no contacts were imported.
Learn more

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
What can I change???

Thanks,
goks

Have you checked with GMail about what the desired .csv format would be for
them?
