when connect2online help open new browser,kicks me out of app

Why when you want to conenct to office help, doesnt it open a new browser?
It uses the one I currently have open, which is an important browser based
application for work. I could be maintaining a record and writing a long
paragraph, and I lose this information and it logs me out.

to change the option in IE to browse in new window.
