I have an old Microsoft Outlook PST file from my previous job that mainly contains work emails, but it also has important business contacts saved in the same mailbox. I no longer use Outlook on my current system, and I only need to export those contacts into vCard (.vcf) format so that I can import them into my phone and other email clients. I tried opening the PST file in Outlook, but due to compatibility issues and missing account settings, I cannot properly access or export the contacts. In this situation, when is it actually necessary to use a PST to vCard converter tool instead of the manual Outlook export method? Also, is using a dedicated converter the safest option for extracting contacts from old work PST files without losing any data?
