Added a search criteria to a database, none of the fields use numbers, and I
get "Database Error" if this persists contact the server administrator.

When the search criteria is removed the database displays all the fields
like it is supposed to. Using Frontpage 2002 and a MS Access 2000 database.
This error only occurs when a search criteria is added.

? I have tried the Microsoft workarounds i.e. DHTML but to no avail, any
help???

Dhtml is not a work around for DB errors
Post your search criteria statement and the error message

I added a search criteria of Lastname=Lastname and BookNumber=BookNumber both
text fields. This worked in Frontpage 2000 but not in Frontpage 2002. When
this criteria is removed it will display the database. I have tried adding a
search criteria to other databases I use and can only reproduce this error
using FP 2002. When searching the MS knowledge base there was an article of
using DHTML to enter * wildcard characters to the search criteria, I tried
this to no avail. I guess I will revert back to FP 2000 and if I find another
editor that works better will switch to it.
