When I click on synonyms it no longer gives an alternative word

Hi. Usually when I right click synonyms it gives a list of alternative words
but now it just directs me to the thesaurus. I seem to have lost this
facility somewhere along the line. Only within the last 24hrs.

version of Word?

Could be a language issue: like proofing, synonyms rely on the language
property of the text. If the latter is not set to the (suppsedly:
English) language version you have proofing tools installed, I can't
imagine synonyms to work ...
