When printing hold queue to change paper in printer

D

Deadeye

I have noticed in various offices that there are many people using a single
or double tray printer.

I think it would be great if a function was introduced whereby a user could
pause the print queue (for say max 60 seconds) whilst different paper was
inserted i.e Letter Head, Plain, Coloured etc. Rather than the current
procedure which is for someone to shout "I'm changing the paper. No one
print!"

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

This is not an MS Office application issue or feature, but is available
as part of the printer driver and operating feature set. Please review
your authority to pause the printer. If this seems confusing please
contact your network administrator for assistance.
