where are start menu shortcuts for office 2007?

I have upgraded to Office 2007 and have been unable to find (if they are
there) the option to have office shortcuts in the start menu.

With 2003 you had the option to open and or create new office documents. Has
anybody managed to find this if it is there?

Forgive my ignorance if it is an easy find (I've not managed it).

Thanks in advance

Hi Beaker,

For both Office 2003 and 2007 the New Office Document and Open Office Document shortcuts are optional installation items from the
Microsoft Office choice in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel.

In Office 2007 the OfficeButton(file)=>New choice offers access to templates and documents on your computer and to all of the
templates on OfficeOnline as well.

Thanks Bob,

I thought I had "checked" all the boxes to run from my computer. Missed that
one.
Sorted now, thank you
