Where can I buy or download Office XP?

I just bought an Acer TravelMate C110 Tablet PC and I want to install
Microsoft Office XP and Office Pack for Tablet PC. Where can I download those
without spending hundreds for the actual software CDs?

Hi,

From what I know, you can`t do that without paying for the software license.
If you don`t want to spend the money on MS Office, then download and use
open office an opensource program that can let you use and save files in MS
Office file types.

This is not a warez or pirate newsgroup. There are lots on online and
retail stores where you can buy a legal copy of the software.

There are cheaper alternatives:

OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org/)
WordPerfect Office
MS Works (if all you really need is just Word)

Only legal way is to buy it; you will need the CD for updates, re-installs
etc...
Compared to the cost of a Tablet PC, Office doesn't cost that much.

Hi,

You might be right, I don`t have any Tablet PC`s to test on. I know it
works on desktops and regular notebooks. The OP can try though and see if
it works.
