I am looking for third party PowerPoint slide transition effects software
other than Crystal Graphics version. Can anyone please suggest an alternative?

Many thanks
Lee...

Lee,

I know Troy Chollar has some cool effects I can't remember the name of, but
if you can chase him down, he was using some cool stuff in San Diego.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for the reference Glen. Actually everything I used in San Diego for
the PPTLive animation sessions was the native PPT (2003) transitions and
animations - just used in creative ways. For the "Big Picture" sesssion I
did some transitions using a video scaler/switcher, but that is a hardware
solution. The other thing I showing some people off to the side was a demo
some of the OfficeFX stuff I had been working on. If you are up for the
challenge, and have the appropriate hardware (the app will run a hardware
check to make sure it will run on your computer), go check out the
Professional edition of OfficeFX (www.instanteffects.com). You develop the
background and slide transitions in 3D Max Studio. Some fantastic results!
But lots of effort and lots of hardware/computer needs.

Hi,

Thanks, Troy. OfficeFX is the one.

Like Troy says, a lot of effort but the results are fantastic!
