Where does Entourage store its attachments in the finder.
Is it under
preferences? I 'd like to keep track of where it stores the
attachments
specifically. Thank you
Once is enough - you don't need to send this 4 times.
Entourage does not generally store attachments separately. They , like
everything else, are in the Database file in ~/Documents/Microsoft User
Data/Office X Identities/[Main Identity/. Howevere, if you double-clicked
any attachments to open them from the message itself, then you can also find
a copy on disk at ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Saved Attachments.
That said, for the future, you can choose to save attachments automatically
to disk by a mail rule: for both POP and IMAP, you can choose to Save
Attachments for All messages, to that Saved Attachments folder or anywhere
you wish. (Tools/Rules/Mail (POP) or (IMAP)/New). For POP you can even
specify which type of attachments, and you can also choose to remove the
attachments form the messages in the database. You can't do that for IMAP
because the attachments are not decoded until they are downloaded from the
server.
