I have an issue with Outlook 2003, about which I contacted my manufacturer
(Office was installed at the Dell factory).
The Gold Technical Support professional (for which I paid much!) could not
resolve the issue, but instead sent me the MicroSoft.com link, so I could
search on my own... and what do I find? MicroSoft has washed their hands of
me since I did not purchase Office directly from them.
The MS website leaves in a lurch all those customers who purchased Office
with their systems. I've already made a complaint to Dell. But wouldn't it
be great if we could all play together nice, and realize that many customers
out there purchased products from BOTH the manufacturer AND MicroSoft in good
faith and deserve support from both?!
Thanks for the opportunity to get that off my chest.
