I work from home and use VPN to connect to my office server. I have 2
machines - desktop for home work and laptop in the office. Both are
running Outlook 2003 with BCM on XP Pro platform. The server is Small
Business Server 2003.
I assumed that the BCM database which was created and updated on my
home PC was stored on the server so that any updates/changes made to
the d/base from home would be saved to the server. I hoped that I
would then be able to access that database from my laptop when in the
office. However, when I run BCM on the laptop and connect to the
server, it does not locate the BCM database. Is the BCM d/base stored
on the server or some other location? can I set things up so that the
BCM d/base is available to me in the office?
TIA
