where is the folder containing my email messages?

I have cloned my entire internal hard drive to another new internal
hard drive and am going to erase the first one; I want to make sure I
don't inadvertantly trash the folders containing my email messages. On
the new drive, I see folders under Identities" that contain Outlook
Express message documents, but those are older email identities. I now
use Entourage, with new email identities.

I can find the new identities under "Documents - Microsoft User Data -
Office 2004 Identities", though that folder doesn't contain a document
titles "messages". Are the messages stored elsewhere? Since making the
new drive the start-up disk, does Entourage know to save them to that
drive as opposed to the older drive, which I want to erase? Is that a
preference I can set?

thanks, in advance,
david

Nevertheless, they are in there (in the Database).

No.

Basically, yes. It doesn't have anything to do with the startup drive
per se; it has to do with the fact that this is your user folder. It
happens that your user folder is on the startup drive so the effect is
the same. m.
