Since we had to replace Outlook 2001 with Entourage it is not possible to
use the Exchange Server Out of office / autoreply?
Is there any possibility if there is no Outlook Web Acccess?

Well without OWA, you'll have to set up a rule and leave Entourage
running at all time. It's fairly easy to do.

I'm wondering though: if you used an Exchange server without OWA, how do
you get the e-mails in Entourage ?? Entourage 2004 uses OWA to get the
Exchange e-mails (unless the server has IMAP enabled and your account is
then setup as a plain regular IMAP account, but then you loose all the
advantages of Exchange).

In that case the only option is to use mail rules, but that means that you
will have to leave entourage running to receive mail and respond to it.

O.K,

In case we use Outlook Web Access, the users have to learn Entourage and OWA
(for the Exchange-Server Out of Office Reply).
Is this maybe a future enhacement for Entourage?

Thanks
Markus

It maybe, but who can tell?

You can send feedback to the developers on this issue. Use the last menu
item under the 'Help' menu - "Send Feedback on Entourage". This message will
go directly to the developers. The more people that request this feature the
more likely it is to be implemented.
