Where would I find Microsoft Equation 3.0 program?

I need Microsoft Equation 3.0 for my math class but I cannot find it on the
computer. Can you tell me if I need to update the computer to get this
program on the computer?

I don't think there's a stand-alone MS Equation program.

Try opening PowerPoint or Word and then using Insert/Object. Does Microsoft
Equation 3.0 show up on your list there?

It's an optional install, go to control pannel, add-remove, MS Office...
