Which Application?

Hi groups. First time I've cross posted so please forgive me if I don't get
it right.

We are in the "thinking about it" stage of developing a web based training
program.
The program will include testing, ability to email instructor, print
certificate of completion, record keeping and probably other stuff we
haven't considered yet.

At this point I am just asking for opinions and thoughts as to which program
might better serve our needs. Microsoft PowerPoint of Microsoft Frontpage.
Or perhaps some other program.

As always any thoughts, suggestions or comments are welcome.

Best regards
Mike

If your goal is something web-based, then I would not use PowerPoint to
create it.

Not sure that any MS Office components is the way to go.

Have a look at QuestionTools (www.questiontools.com) - download a free
version to check it out.

for on-line testing and results management>

While Office apps can export *most* thing to HTML, the results often leave
much to be desired. I also would not consider using FrontPage as its a dead
product and has been replaced by Expression Web. (That is a good thing.)

If you are in a situation where you will have a learning cure regardless of
your choices, I would really give the complete MS Expression Suite
(including SilverLight) a serious review. The things you can do with the
suite is limited only by your imagination and how much you want to invest in
the effort.
