Which Way To Go

Nanette

I know this is big, put if you could just point me in the right direction
(what should I study/research), that's all I need. At least for right now
:)))

I've got a pricing matrix that I need to incorporate into my database and
I'm not sure how to go about it. Below is what the matrix looks like.

Pdk 1 Pdk 2 Pdk 3 Pdk 4 Pdk 5 Pdk 6
Date Jan-07 Jan-07 Jan-07 Jan-07 Jan-07 Jan-07
Service Chg 1 2.2% 2.2% 2.2% 2.2% 0.0% 0.0%
Service Chg 2 2.0% 4.5% 4.5% 4.5% 0.0% 0.0%
Service Chg 3 4.3% 1.7% 1.7% 1.7% 0.0% 0.0%
Service Chg 4 0.0% 3.8% 3.8% 3.8% 0.0% 0.0%
Service Chg 5 1.1% 2.9% 2.9% 2.9% 0.0% 0.0%
Service Chg 6 0.0% 3.2% 3.2% 3.2% 0.0% 0.0%
Service Chg 7 0.0% 2.5% 2.5% 2.5% 0.0% 0.0%

Pdk 1 Pdk 2 Pdk 3 Pdk 4 Pdk 5 Pdk 6
More Services 1.1% 7.8% 7.8% 7.8% 7.8% 7.8%
Other Services 30.0% 9.5% 9.5% 9.5% 9.5% 9.5%

These numbers will be used on a form which will later be printed on a
report. Basically the first section applies to every product. The second
section only applies to products that belong to one of two groups.

The output will look like:

Category 1A 2A 3A Total
Service Chg 1 2.2 2.2
Service Chg 2 2.0 2.0
Service Chg 3 4.3 4.3
Service Chg 4 0.0 0.0
Service Chg 5 1.1 1.1
Service Chg 6 0.0 0.0

Sub Total 8.5 0.0 1.1 9.6

More Serivces 1.1
Other Services 30.0

Totals 31.1

I thought of making a form for each product level, but don't think that is
the appropriate/most efficient way.

Any ideas would be highly appreciated.
