Why am I getting the Copyright Sign instead of the Letter C"

P

Paul Black

Hello Everyone,

I have an unusual problem that I do not understand. When I type in the
Letter "(c)" ( Lower Case ) or "(C)" ( Upper Case ) in Brackets it
transfers it into a Copyright sign.
I know that in the Font "Tahoma" to get the Copyright sign you hold
down "Alt" and punch in ( on the Number Keypad ) 0169.
Does anyone have any ideas on a way to resolve this, or has anyone
come across the same problem.

Thank in advance.
Paul

Paul,

This could be Office's AutoCorrect stepping in. In Word,
look at Tools > AutoCorrect.

This is Excel's AutoCorrect feature doing this. In the
Tools menu, select AutoCorrect and either delete this
entry from the list or unselect the "Replace as you type"
checkbox.

Thanks Sandy and Greg,

I used Gregs Solution and Deleted the Entry from the List, it Worked Great.

All the Best
