Why are receipents receiveing dubplicate e-mails from me?

Every time I send an outgoing message, each contact receives the e-mail from
me TWICE. Why is this happening? What can I do to correct this?

Make sure you're not scanning outgoing mail with an antivirus scanner and
lengthen your server timeout value.
