Why can't I forward attachments. . .?

Hello,

This is a real frustration with Entourage. I get files i need to
forward to another co-worker, and it seems that unless I save the file
to my desktop and then re-attach it, my emails get sent without the
attachments.

Is there a default I can change because this is a lot of extra steps.

Any resources much appreciated.

Attachments do not get included with forwarded mail by convention. However,
you don't have to save the attachment to disk, you can just drag the
attachment directly from the incoming message (when it is open in it's own
window, not the preview pane) onto the forwarded message.
