Why can't I get rid of the white on the top or on the left

Good evening everyone,

I just bought FrontPage and am taking my first shot in
designing a website. Something though is driving me
crazy!

I chose a blue background. Yet, one can see a tinge of
whiteness on the left, bottom, right, and nearly a 1/4
inch on the top. It gets even bigger when I have it on
the Preview mode.

Is there a way to get rid of the whiteness, or will the
whiteness automatically disappear when I put this live?

Sounds like you've set the background color for a table.
Right click and select table properties and remove the color.
Then right click and select page properties and set the background
color for the page
