Why can't I run MS Publisher on a Gateway or Viewsonic monitor?

While all other Office 2003 products work on the two flat panel monitors that
I've tried out, why does MS Publisher 2003 lock up? I have tried two
different brands of flat panel monitors, why won't MS Publisher display
graphics on a flat panel monitor? Both monitors have the capability of
operating in either Analog or Digital modes. I am operating them in the
Analog mode.

Are you using a VGA or a DVI cable? Have you tried running on a CRT monitor?
