WHY CAN'T WE VIEW POWER POINT IN OUTLOOK EXPRESS, ANYMORE?

so many comouter friends can no longer view power points in outlook express.
it has become necessary for them to save power point on desk top and then
view it there. WHY? CAN ANYTHING BE DONE TO CORRECT THIS?

IT'S A SECURITY FEATURE THAT WAS INSTALLED WITH WINDOWS XP SP2.
