Why does every line start with a capital letter?

I am writing emails on entourage X on my new macbook and every time I
hit return,
It capitalizes the first letter?

Can you help me to stop this?

Try playing around with the AutoCorrect settings in Tools>AutoCorrect.
Entourage should stop capitalising the first letter of every sentence if you
de-activate that specific option.

An even easier solution is to not hit return unless you want a new
paragraph, at which point you typically want a capital letter. A
computer is not a typewriter (do they still exist?). It takes care of
when to go to the next line for you. That way, you can insert text
without having to change all the returns that were entered.

There are, of course, cases where returns are necessary -- lists for
instance.

To turn off the automatic correcting, go to TOOLS-->AUTOCORRECT... From the
menu toolbar, and set the automatic capitalization settings as desired; in
your case I believe you want to clear the "capitalize first letter of
sentences."

This is for Entourage 2004, but I think that Entourage X will be similar.
