Why does my backspace sometime refuse to delete the paragraph mark?

It depends on where the paragraph mark is placed. For example if it is
the final paragraph mark in the document then it can not be deleted.

Perhaps if you could provide some additional details on what you are
trying to accomplish we can help clarify the problem you are
encountering.

Thank you. Generally it happens when I use a document as
a template for another document. Some of the paragraph
marks between paraghraphs will not delete. Neither
backspace not the delete key nor the cut function will
work. I have checked for section breaks in the document
in case that is the problem -there were none. Any
information would be very helpful. Thanks.

Klaire,

Do you have tracked changes that you aren't displaying? Sometime hidden
tracked changes can have this effect.
