Why does power point printing suck so bad?

Dont they realize how many students out there need to print notes but hate
wasting paper, and having the written notes really messy? I mean why is
there so much wasted paper when you try to print 6 slides per page??

There are multiple additional printing options thru add-ins. The best one
for what you are noting is the Handout Wizard add-in. It allows you to
customize your printed handouts (even to the point of eliminating all the
white space between the slide miniatures if that is the way you want it.)
