Why does Send to Mail recipient open Express?

I have done all I can think of to tell Win XP that
Outlook is my preferred mail client (and not Outllok
Express) Why is it when I Right Click on a photo in My
Pictures and select Send to... Mail Recipient it creates
the new email message with resized attachments in Outlook
EXPRESS?
Any Help would be gratefully received

Open Internet Explorer and select Tools | Internet Options | Programs tab.
Is Microsoft Outlook set as your default mail client? If yes, switch it
over to Outlook Express, select apply, and then switch it back to Microsoft
Outlook and apply. Hopefully that is enough to force a rewrite of some of
the supporting registry keys.

If that doesn't work, you might want to take a look at your "set program
access and defaults" settings. Easiest way I know to get there is start |
settings | control panel | add/remove applets. bottom option on the left.
(This generally reads custom when you have Microsoft Outlook [or any
application except OE] as the default mail client.)
