Why doesn't my Distribution list show in my contacts folder

I have tried a number of times to create a distribution list of 5 names from
my contacts list. But it never shows in my contacts folder. I'm Using Outlook
2003 from Office 2003. All Office and Outlook updates have been installed.
The previous reply from Mr. Tilman does not reveal the Distribution list.

Describe exactly how you're trying to create the DL.
