Why I cannot view received mail attachment?

Why I cannot view received mail attachment?
Previously, no problem. Now, after I clicked on paper clip symbol, a message
box will come out to ask: open from location or save to disc. Neither one
will not bring success to view attachment. Guide me what to do (the easiest
steps, please).

What did you do between "previously" and "now"?

Neither one will not bring success to view attachment. Guide me what
