Why is my system slow after installing Microsoft Updates?

I downlaoded and installed updates suggested by Microsoft on Friday, June
3rd, and now when I log on to my desktop, it takes at least 90 seconds to
come on instead of 15-20 seconds. Can you suggest anything?

After installing new updates from Windows Update/Microosft Update, on the
first boot it will be a bit longer. Try rebooting agian and see if you will
get back your normal 15-20 seconds boot up time.

If you are still having the 90 seconds boot up after 2/3 reboot, please let
us know what update did you download.

Also it wil be best that you post your query in the windowsupdate newsgroup:
news://news.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate
