Why is "To" inserted when correcting dictation errors with keyboa.

When dictating to the computer, every time I use the mouse or the keyboard to
edit or erase, the word "To" is added right at the edited (or erased) point.
For instance, if I dictated "dollarize" and the computer writes "dollar
rise", after deleting the blank space and replacing the "s" with "z", the
immediate outcome is "dollarizeTo". What can I do to prevent this?

Office's speech transcription abilities are rudimentary. If you switch off
your microphone this might not happen. If you really want to do heavy-duty
voice transcription I would recommend getting a program such as Dragon
Naturally Speaking that does a good job with it.
