Why power point block the computer?

I have used power point for many years. Now I need to reedit some files.
However, the power point 'write' one or two letters power point began not
running (not responding).

What must I do?

I just had the same problem and so far no one came up with a solution.

Have reinstalled ppt and the problem persists.

Help is appreciated.

Same question for you -- do you have a printer driver installed and
available?

Have you (both) updated recently to ppt 2003 and not yet installed service
pack 2??
