Why would my trial version expire in 3 days??

Sometime it gets confused as to what day it is <grin>. Try going to regedit
and setting the key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Microsoft->Office->10.0->MSProject->Options->General->FirstBoot

to equal 1

Steve -- My path does not include 10.0> Instead I have 11.0 and 9.0. I
reset First Boot to 1 in the 11.0 path, but that did not work. When I looked
at First Boot again, it was 0. Cannot see Apply or Commit key. How to make
this work?

When you edit the value and exit regedit the change is automatically saved.
Don't know what else to tell you as that's the only info I have.
