Will Office 1997 work under Windows XP Home Addition?

I'd like to upgrade from Windows '98 to XP home addition.....but I'd like to
know if I have to upgrade to XP Office at the same time......thanks for your
help.

Yes, Office 97 works with Windows XP, and so does Office XP.
There are a few common Office 97 installation problems if you
have Windows XP with Service Pack 2. If you encounter an
installation problem, search this forum for the error message you
get, or post a question with your particular problem.
